Practitioner Profile

My backround is as a skin aesthetician, having the knowledge to identify skin problems, this modality has opened the door to venture towards a yearning that I always had & that is to assist peoples to feel their best. I then trained in Refexology, Swedish Massage, Shiatsu and some years later in the Bowen Technique. After 4 years as a Bowen practitioner I trained to become a Bowtech Instructor with the Academy of Australia. During mid way of my training I suffered a servere stroke & my family were prepared that my journey would be a long haul to recovery.
I truley believe that had it not been for the regular Bowen treatments & a nutritional supplement that I had been on over the yrs. which supported my body it could had a more devastating effect. Bowen treatments were given to me from day 1 of my stroke by a dear friend, Crystal. This enhanced my recovery & I walked out of hospital in 2 1/2 weeks. after the stroke when my family were told I would be in hopitial 4-6 weeks & then on to Shenton Park Anexe for further physio over 3-4 months.
Bowen came into my life for many health issues & has served me well, I am passionate about this modality and know from experience what it can acheive, not only from personal experience but also the many clients responses to changes in their musculo-skeletal system.
