Practitioner Profile

Alexandra Antoniou is a physiotherapist registered with the HCPC and holds a BSc in physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University and a BSc in German literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
She has been practicing the Bowen Technique since 2001 and is a Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia (BTAA) senior Instructor, teaching Bowtech since 2010.
Alexandra is based in Athens, Greece, and has taught Bowtech, as well as her own endorsed BTAA seminar "Sotai Exercise for Bowtech practitioners" in Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Cyprus.
She is a founding member of the Bowtech Association of Greece and the Hellenic Shiatsu Society and a member of the European Bowen Association.
In her seminars, she seeks to convey Bowtech's message in a safe and forthcoming manner, embellishing it with interesting information on anatomy and physiology, and combining it with Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sotai and Zen Shiatsu practices, following her 25-year involvement with alternative therapies.
She has taught yoga as a certified Iyengar Yoga instructor, as well as NLP for companies and individuals.
