Charlene began her studies in Santa Barbara at the Wholistic Institute in 1986 and has been adding to her knowledge and gaining applied wisdom since that time. She has lived on the North Shore of Kauai since l989, where the weather,"suits my be-ing". Charlene, an inspired horsewoman and her husband a avid surfer, share their lives together. The horses assist me in my continued development of sensitivity and feel. They help to deepen my practice of the Art of Therapeutic Touch. Bowenwork gives me the kind of feed back that is astounding in its simplicity. Make moves, then watch as the body responds and gives feed back on moves needed to assist in more efficient flow of energy. I am truly grateful for the gift of Bowenwork and appreciate the efforts of my first instuctor Karin Twohig as well as the other instructors I have trained with.
